Appleton Boychoir Boys on Broadway! 2011-2012 Concert Season

Home

History

For over 32 years the Appleton Boychoir has given musical training to thousands of boys, taking them all over the world and sending them on their way with a life-long love of singing. High school and collegiate choirs have all profited by the experience these boys bring to them and the example they set for others. Appleton’s high school choirs each have varsity men’s choirs of upwards of eighty voices! To be a male and to sing in your school choir is a thing of pride in Appleton. Over the years, the Appleton Boychoir’s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols has become an event to be cherished each Christmas season. The Festival is a gathering place of excellence in community life as leaders in business, education, the arts and volunteer services take pleasure in sharing the stage with the boys by reading the beautiful words of the Christmas story. As ambassadors of Appleton, Boychoir members have brought their musical message of friendship to many distant countries. These travels have broadened the horizons of our young men and have given a positive impression of American life to others. The shared experience of singing with people of other cultures and with other boys has made a deep and lasting imprint on the hearts of these young men and all who hear them.
